PORTALS -

Every door has a story – some doors develop a unique look and are being shaped by time and their environment – please join for a photo show and open dialogue about urban identity.

Berlinique photo project is now presenting – URBAN PORTALS – a curated photo exhibition filtered down from their best images of the last decades with focus on doors of all kinds. A projection of original pictures showcasing unique storefronts, entryways and exits.

A presentation of doors as gateways of urban identity, Often they represent status, and are in constant develpoment. Textures, design, crust and patina- also often paired with street art.

Discover unique styles and a huge variety of details and cultural heritage.

A documentation of diversity with traces of time.

An atmospheric photo projection that encourages an open dialogue and exchange about the identity of cities, neigbourhoods & our homes – what are your favourite PORTALS ?

This is a manifest of urban street culture and unique places- We need to raise awareness to preserve and cultivate creative and unique spaces especially also in New York where iconic and very relevant locations vanish or have been destroyed by extreme urban developments.Once lost they can never be replaced- all temples are temporary, protect them!

Berlinique is a photo project by Berlin based multimedia artist Daniel San with thanks to everyone involved along the journey.

Special Thanks to Allied Productions Inc & LUNGS Harvest Art Festival and the De Colores community garden for their support.
