Visual art works created at No Rio and/or donated by exhibiting artists since inception in 1980. The archive also includes video, film, slides and ephemera documenting the socio political aspect of the art of the 80's. A selection from this assemblage of work was initially shown at No Rio's fifth anniversary exhibition at the Department of Cultural Affairs' City Gallery, and has since been exhibited at Artcite in Windsor, Ontario and Kunstlerhaus in Hamburg, Germany. Due to the milleau's interdisciplinary aesthetic, the music, performance, and media events are integral to the exhibitions. Several artists and events in the document tapes listed above coincide with the exhibitions listed below.
